It will come as no surprise that I upgraded to the latest OS offering from Apple. In the last couple of weeks using Snow Leopard it has been a mixed bag. 95% of it is all very good. On the odd occasion Quicktime X does not work as I would want it to. Then there is something wrong with perhaps a memory leak, as I get lots of spinning beach balls and hangs. There is also a font issue with Quark Xpress and postscript type 1 fonts. Apart from that (which I can put up with) it is all pretty snappy and good. If you are remotely interested in photography then it is likely you will have a digital camera. However, if you have been in the game for a while, you may even have a album or two, or maybe even a shoebox with some real photographs. You remember, the ones that are paper, that you hold. Well, if you want to bring them into the digital age, you could do a lot worse than the Epson Perfection V500 Photo scanner. Check out my review below and also check out TestFreaks which scored this scanner 7.6/10.
The Sony Cybershot DSC-WX1 offers so much on the feature list. You get a very compact camera, with a 10.2 megapixel sensor. Excellent lens with a 5x optical zoom. Plus features like high definition movie capture and smile detection. However, problems with 16GB memory sticks and noise whilst zooming will not do it any favours. Check out the two videos below, followed by some gallery photos taken with the camera.

Gotta get the slim thing on with Sony this year, with their release of the PS3 Slim. It seems that they love making ground breaking technology, then making us spend again when they launch a slimmer and better version.
